Working with shoulder impingement clients?
Instruct and teach your client to strengthen their weaker(phasic) rhomboids via mid row exercise,
low trapezius muscle through reverse pulldowns and stretch their posterior capsule.
Avoid: Shoulder press(which creates compressive loads to the AC) joint, kettle bell exercises and front raises. Remember to create balance by stretching the typically tight front anterior muscles(pectorals, upper traps) and strengthen the weaker posterior chain!!
